Learning events for trainees

Here are some examples of recent events:

York and Scarborough Training Scheme Conference – A day of learning about the power of the arts and the importance of community-based resources. Take a look at the film. With thanks to both Arts Council England and Health Education England for their support of this event.

GP School Art Club launched in 2021 is on a Tuesday evening once a month 19.30-21.00 on Zoom. Invites come out via to all Trainees in Y&H GP School. The aim of GP Art Club is for trainees and educators to learn together about an aspect of General Practice using art (film, painting, photos, literature, poems, music) as a catalyst for discussion.

HDR Teaching sessions for GP Trainees – recent topics include illness perspective, compassion in medicine, social deprivation, and inequality.

Yorkshire and Humber Trainee Conferences

I offer sessions on:
